Where Should Lily Live Part 2

After I left Vicky in Strathcarron I headed back South (everything is South of Strathcarron) and spent a night in Bridge of Allan. What started as a nice overnight in a warm Scottish town took a bit of a turn.
After I got settled in my delightful AirBnB I took myself for a walk. I looked adorable doing it, here's a selfie to prove it.

I ate a sandwich by the river and decided to go off road before heading back.

I was walking along a path beside some trees when a man sort of stumble/fell/lunged out of them about 10 feet in front of me. Without even thinking about it my body took a sharp right turn to politely run away from him. I was walking quickly and quite suddenly I was in a wood. The road had twisted and I couldn't see the man, I didn't want to turn back out of a combination of fear and embarrassment so I just kept on.
At one point I was just taking these photos so I would be able to see where I was going. I'm not easily scared, but being quite suddenly in a totally dark wood at night when maybe a man is out to get you and you're not wearing the right footwear shook me. There weren't many times during this journey that I felt lonely, this was it, I was hundreds of miles from anyone who knew me and I had put myself in something very close to danger.
Obviously nothing happened, I lived to tell the tale and got out of the woods. But I decided in the middle of the woods- I didn't want to live in Bridge of Allan.
